Education
Current Graduate Student in Applied Psychology/Clinical Track, B.A. in Psychology, A.A. in Education
My educational journey combines a foundation in education with advanced training in psychology, focusing on child development, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches for children and families. After earning my Associate’s degree in Education, I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Rutgers University and continued into the accelerated 4+1 program, where I am completing my Master of Applied Psychology, on a clinical track to become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My coursework and clinical training, including pediatric feeding disorders, clinical and school psychology, trauma-informed care, and child psychopathology, have supported me in my mission to support and advocate for children and families across clinical and educational settings.

I assist with forensic cases where mental health evaluations inform legal decisions for individuals and families. My responsibilities include co-leading clinical interviews and psychological assessments under supervision, drafting initial reports, synthesizing records, conducting collateral interviews, and performing background research to support legal and psychological evaluations.
Past Professional Experience
Childcare Provider (4 years)
I focused on fostering developmental growth by adding structure to daily routines that promote desirable behaviors and using evidence-based approaches to increase resilience. I implemented strategies for effective behavior management and crisis intervention, ensuring a supportive and warm environment. My goal was and continues to be to create enriching experiences, ultimately promoting executive functioning, appropriate development, and emotional well-being.
Throughout my years, I gained experience in providing support for children in need of behavioral interventions , with adaptability, patience, and empathy. I continue to increase my skills in collaborative communication and problem-solving, through collaboration with parents, teachers, doctors, and therapists to optimize children's development and well-being
Throughout my experience in teaching (2 years)
My initial responsibilities were to create and lead small group activities that enhanced student engagement and mastery of educational standards. As well as, daily lesson planning, classroom prep, and formal and observational assessments. In my work I found a passion for fostering a love of education in the children I worked with and creating an environment built on goal-setting and desire for mastery.
After being recognized for my expertise in behavior management and instructional techniques, my supervisors selected me to lead interventions for struggling teachers and their classrooms, implementing innovative approaches based on the latest research in promoting motivation and classroom success. This experience allowed me to enhance student academic outcomes and facilitate social-emotional development throughout the school.
In addition, I conducted quarterly assessments to assess children's knowledge in literacy and mathematics.
