Here’s some of my favorite parenting books, activities, and songs!
My favorite parenting podcast… It’s Mom O’Clock Somewhere, by Dominique Devizio and Emily D’Annunzio!
One of my go-to podcasts for moms looking for an honest, hilarious, and relatable take on motherhood. The co-hosts bring the perfect blend of humor and heart, making every episode feel like a chat with your best friends. Their candid conversations offer a much-needed outlet for moms navigating the beautiful chaos of parenting. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking connection, laughter, and a reminder that you're not alone!
My favorite parenting/childcare book “Good Inside”, by clinical psychologist Becky Kennedy.
I cannot stress enough how this book has completely reworked my entire philosophy for working with children and creating positive habits.
It is a great read for any parent, but specifically mothers trying to find a way to assert their authority, while remaining warm and gentle.
Here’s my favorite option for music to bring the energy in your house/classroom down and reset!
This instrumental Disney playlist is great to use as background noise while having your little one engage in independent play or a quiet time activity.
The piano creates a melody that relaxes the mind and calms the nerves, and the Disney element creates excitement in children that identify their favorite songs!
I also recommend a smooth jazz / coffee shop playlist as an alternative.
